Addictions Support Services

The goal of the National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP) is to help First Nations and Inuit communities setup and operate programs aimed at reducing high levels of alcohol, drug, and solvent abuse among on-reserve populations.

Sagkeeng, NNADAP provides community members with an Alcohol Anonymous program as well as access to counselling and referrals.

  • Providing clients with money
  • Providing transportation
  • Feeding clients
  • Paying for hotel rooms
  • Finding a place for clients to stay
  • Providing for the children of clients
  • Decisions regarding acceptance into a treatment centre
  • Personal transportation to and from treatment centres
